A refundable $500 deposit by check is required to join the T-hangar list; it is returned or applied to the first month's rent if a hangar is accepted, and can be returned at any time if the applicant removes their name. Applicants choose which hangar categories they will accept and are offered the first available matching hangar. If an applicant selects more than one category and declines an offer, the name moves to the bottom of all hangar lists. An applicant who cannot be reached is treated as having declined.
