What we hold about you, why, and how long.

Two kinds of people
This page covers two groups. If you run a waiting list, we are the data controller for your account. If you are on somebody's waiting list, the organisation running that list is the controller and we are their processor: we hold your data on their behalf and act on their instructions.
What we hold about applicants
Your name, email address and phone number. The date you joined the list, which decides your place in it. Any fields the organisation asks for, such as the length of your boat. Your offers and answers, your payments, and the record of every movement in your position with the reason for it.
Why we hold it
To run the list you asked to be on, to reach you when it is your turn, and to be able to show why you are where you are. The last one is the point of the product: a queue nobody can check is not a queue, it is a claim.
Who else sees it
The organisation running the list. Stripe, when you pay a fee. Our email provider, when we write to you. Nobody else. We do not sell it, we do not advertise with it, and we do not train anything on it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are on the list, and for ninety days after the organisation removes you, so a mistake can be undone. The log of decisions is kept longer, because it is the evidence that the queue was fair: five years, and then it goes.
What you can ask for
A copy of everything we hold about you. You do not have to ask: it is a download button on your dashboard, on every plan. You can also ask for corrections, and for deletion. Ask the organisation running the list first, because they can act immediately. If they will not, write to us.
Deletion has a limit, and we will say so
If you ask to be deleted, your registration and your personal details go. What stays is the fact that a place was allocated on a date, without your name attached, because the organisation has to be able to show that the queue was handled correctly to everyone else who was in it.
Cookies
A session cookie so you stay logged in, and statistics cookies only if you allow them. There is a separate page about it.
Where it is
On servers in Europe. Stripe processes payment data and is based in the United States, under the standard contractual clauses.

Write to us first, at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
