Four separate lists by boat length, and a renewal cannot jump from one to another. The $20 is both the application and the annual fee: it is non-refundable and must be paid in writing before 1 April each year, and "the name on the waiting list(s) shall be advanced from year-to-year only if the annual fee is paid". Slip space is non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Nothing is published about how long you get to answer an offer or what happens if you say no.
