What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

What the service is
Waitsub is software for running waiting lists. You decide who may join your lists, in what order people are ranked, and who gets offered a place. We run the software, keep the record and send the messages. We are not a party to anything you agree with the people on your lists.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your colleagues do. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account.
Your data belongs to you
The lists, the registrations, the reasons and the log are yours. You can export all of it at any time. If you stop paying, you move to the free plan: nothing is deleted, no list is closed and nobody loses their place. We limit what you can add, never what you already have.
What we will not do with it
We do not sell your data, we do not use it to advertise to your applicants, and we do not use it to train anything. We access it only to run the service, to fix something you have asked us to fix, or where the law requires it. Every time our support acts inside your account it is written in your log with our name on it. You do not have to ask us for that: the log is in your own account, the top of it says whether we have ever been in there at all, and you can export the whole thing yourself. We would rather you checked than took our word for it.
Payments
Fees your applicants pay go directly to your own Stripe account. You are the merchant of record for them, and you are responsible for refunds and for any negative balance. We take no share of those fees. Stripe takes its own processing fee before the money reaches you, the same as on any card payment you take; the rate follows your own Stripe account and the exact amount is on every payout in your Stripe dashboard. Your subscription to Waitsub is separate, is paid to us, and is paid in advance for the period it covers.
What we promise about uptime
We aim for the service to be available whenever you need it, and we do not promise a number we cannot keep. If it is down, the queue is not lost: it is in the database, and the engine picks up its own backlog when it comes back.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you want. Export your data first, because we will delete it after ninety days. We can close an account that is being used to break the law or to harm the people on its lists, and we will tell you why.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, not by quietly editing this page.
Law
Danish law applies, and disputes belong to the Danish courts.
