Ventura County runs one policy for its two airports, with a separate list and deposit for each airport and each hangar size. The deposit equals one month's rent and no administrative fee applies to join. The county contacts the top applicant by certified mail and gives 14 calendar days from mailing to accept in writing; a decline or no answer is a pass-over, which removes the applicant from that list, forfeits the deposit and bars rejoining for three months.
